Downloading, installing, creating an account or otherwise using the 17Quizz application constitutes unreserved acceptance of these terms, governed by French law.
1. Access and account
The App is restricted to people aged 15 or older (the age of digital consent in France). Sign-in is via Google or Apple. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for any activity carried out from your account.
2. Code of conduct
The following are prohibited: harassment; insulting, hateful or inappropriate usernames or content; cheating in any form (automation, bots, exploiting bugs, manipulating the ranking); and impersonation.
3. Player-created content (quizzes)
You keep your rights over the quizzes you create and grant 17Quizz a non-exclusive licence to host and display them in the App. All content is subject to moderation: it may be refused, hidden or removed if it breaches these terms. Every player can report content or a player, and block another player. Infringing accounts may be suspended or banned, including without notice in the event of a serious breach (cheating, unlawful content, security abuse).
Images. When you illustrate a question, you warrant that you hold the necessary rights to the image (you are its author, it is in the public domain, or its licence allows this use) and grant 17Quizz the same non-exclusive licence to host, resize and display it in the App. If the image's licence requires it, state its author and licence in the "Credit" field. The following are forbidden: the image of a recognisable person without their consent, logos, posters and captures of protected works, private documents or places, and any contact details. Every image is reviewed by our team before it appears in games and may be refused or removed at any time. To request the removal of an image that infringes your rights, write to us from the Support page.
4. Virtual currency, in-app purchases and advertising
Coins and cosmetics are game items with no monetary value: they are non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable outside the App. Optional in-app purchases may be offered through the App Store; the price is displayed before any purchase.
Right of withdrawal — In accordance with Article L221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code, you expressly acknowledge and accept that performance of the digital content begins as soon as the currency or purchased content is credited to your account, and you expressly waive your right of withdrawal from that moment.

Legal warranty of conformity — Digital content and services provided benefit from the legal warranty of conformity set out in Articles L224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code.
« Lorsque le contrat prévoit une opération de fourniture ponctuelle du contenu numérique ou du service numérique […], le professionnel répond des défauts de conformité existant au moment de la fourniture et qui apparaissent dans un délai de deux ans à compter de celle-ci. »

The App also displays ads (including optional rewarded videos), according to your consent choices — see the Privacy Policy.
5. Intellectual property
The App, its code, graphics, texts, game logic and databases constitute a copyrighted work (Articles L111-1 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code) and remain the exclusive property of 17Quizz — except for player-created quizzes (section 3). You do not buy the App: you obtain a right to play it, under the terms of the End User Licence Agreement (EULA).
6. Availability and changes
The service is provided "as is", on a best-effort basis: with no guarantee of continuous availability, and with no liability for server outages, maintenance operations or loss of saved data. Features may change.
7. Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete my account (permanent erasure, see the Privacy Policy).
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Use of the installed application is additionally covered by the End User Licence Agreement (EULA).
