End User Licence Agreement (EULA)

This End User Licence Agreement ("Licence") governs the use of the 17Quizz application ("the App") installed on your device. By installing or using the App, you accept this Licence.

1. Licence grant

17Quizz grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use the App on iPhone and iPad devices that you own or control, strictly for personal, non-commercial purposes.

2. Restrictions

You agree not to:

• copy, distribute, resell, rent or lend the App;
• decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer it, outside the cases strictly provided for by Article L122-6-1 of the French Intellectual Property Code;
• extract or reuse its graphic, audio or textual assets or its databases;
• circumvent its security, moderation or ranking mechanisms;
• use the App for unlawful purposes or in breach of the Terms of Use.

Any unauthorised reproduction or modification of the App constitutes infringement under the French Intellectual Property Code.

3. Intellectual property

The App, its code, design, trademarks and content (excluding player-created quizzes) constitute a copyrighted work (Articles L111-1 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code) and remain the exclusive property of 17Quizz. No rights are granted beyond the licence of use described above.

4. Updates

The App may automatically download and install updates required for its proper operation, security or compliance. You accept these updates; earlier versions may no longer be supported.

5. Personal data

The processing of your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Warranty and liability

The App is provided "as is", with no warranty that it is error-free, continuously available or compatible with every device or iOS version. To the extent permitted by law, 17Quizz shall not be liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the App.

7. Termination

This Licence terminates automatically if you breach any of its clauses. Upon termination, you must stop all use and uninstall the App.

8. Third-party distribution

Where the App is distributed through a third-party platform (App Store or a sideloading service), that platform's terms apply in addition to this Licence.

9. Governing law

This Licence is governed by French law.
